PROFILE

Raul represents clients in all areas of civil litigation, primarily in construction defect, personal injury, and commercial liability suits. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Raul is a native, fluent speaker of both English and Spanish.  His experience has been in state, federal, and immigration courts. He has handled hundreds of lawsuits in multiple and wide-ranging areas of law, including first-party and third-party insurance defense, personal injury, construction litigation, vehicular collisions, cases involving the FELA, breach of contract, DTPA, immigration removal proceedings and appeals, suits for structural damage to the foundations of houses and apartments, and toxic tort cases based on alleged asbestos exposure.  Before joining Trent & Taylor, L.L.P., Raul worked for prominent law firms in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston.

 

Raul earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard College, where he graduated with honors in 1977. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School in 1980.
